Look back at your past and think now of the way how much better will people look and behave towards you, after having a better appearance. Yes, make the comparison. Compare yourself with others, look at them and think about it. This will motivate you and drive you towards taking action. This is also where people might get over ambitious. Do not expect to lose weight overnight. Have a long term goal, make it a point to revise it and remember it. You must have a reason to lose weight than it will be good to remind yourself of that reason every day. It is going to take time, but there will be progress.
Firstly, you need to know about yourself. This means you need apply some health standards to gauge your own weight. The best and less complicated thing to do is to consult a doctor. If you say that you are going on a diet and made a plan that you will stop at a certain period in time. It simply means you are going to put your weight back after that time period.
