Antioxidant in coffee

Caffeine gives us good startup energy in the morning. It helps to keep us awake and alert. As well as making you look bright and healthy in the morning. To the majority of us, we assumed that the only advantage, we can get from coffee is the ability to keep us awake and alert or give an energy boost.

Coffee by itself is considered to be one of the antioxidant rich foods. It compared to popping all those pills into your body system you might as well get coffee. You do need to buy expensive coffee; you can even go for the cheap ones and still gain the benefits.

It does not matter if your coffee is caffeinated or decaffeinated, dark or light roasted. Even by adding milk to your coffee or even foam; a good cup of coffee is going to be good enough to make your day bright and also fight off all those free radicals in your body. Coffee has been a good source for enhancing or lifestyles. That does not mean you should drink 8 cups a day. 2 cups are sufficient. One cup in the morning and one in the afternoon aids your body very well.

What do antioxidants do?. Well, they get rid of all those free radicals that are readily reacting with your body cells thus killing of the good ones. Almost everyone is at the risk of losing their sight as they age. Glasses and contact lenses can only sustain the visibility for a short period of time. Than we have to look for better ones to keep our vision clear. Lasik is also another alternative but it is costly and could lead to side effects.

There are many foods are with high amount of antioxidants. But there is a catch to it was well. Some of the foods which are high in antioxidants contain thing s like oxalic acid. In small amounts these do not have any side effects. In large amounts it can lead to nutritional deficiency.

A healthy balanced diet with plenty of fruit and vegetable comes with as much variation as possible. It has to be rich in antioxidants and other essential nutrients for good health. There are always problems when it comes to preparing a healthy meal. Needless to say there are nutritional supplements that readily available. Look out for good ones though.
